The beautifully situated, authentic Val di Fleres is a small but nice winter destination that offers something to everyone. From
walks and
snow-shoe hikes through the snow-covered landscape to
tobogganing fun for kids and grown-ups, from rapid downhill runs to
ski tours, cross-country skiing and carriage rides, the possibilities in the
Ladurns ski area are endless. The nearby
Monte Cavallo near Vipiteno and the other side valleys of the Alta Valle Isarco – Racines, Ridanna and Vizze – are also worth a detour.
The magnificent mountain world with the majestic 3,096-metre Tribulaun, which watches over the Val di Fleres, the Stubai Alps and the well-signposted hiking trails with catered huts that invite you to stop for a bite to eat are particularly appealing in winter. Well-prepared slopes, the "Fichtis" children's land with the 5,000 m² children's winter park at the valley station and a ski school that has been awarded the "Gold" seal of quality characterise the family-friendly Ladurns winter sports area.
